Introducing Maggie

I am a junior pursuing an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering degree at Yale University. This portfolio aims to supplement my resume through the presentation of various projects that I have worked on throughout my undergraduate degree.

My interests center around mechanical design, manufacturing, and materials science. Whether I am developing high-power laser systems for directed energy applications, leading suspension and manufacturing efforts for Yale’s Formula SAE electric race car, or designing graphene-based COVID-19 biosensors, I am passionate about designing, building, and testing mechanical systems. From CAD modeling and finite element analysis to welding and machining, I enjoying transforming complex ideas into functional products. I thrive in collaborative environments with other passionate, creative, and hard-working engineers. I ultimately want to leverage my skills to create cutting-edge engineering that makes a meaningful difference in the world.
